recently at work, we had a boarder come in named Ben Franklin- and he is now my favorite animal that has ever come! i put up two pictures that are kind of the same, but i had to put both because he's so cute in each of them i couldn't choose!
So Ben Franklin is a pug, but his face was smushed more than any other pug i've ever seen, and it made him so much cuter! but so i would sneak off to his room to hang out with him, and he ended up having the cutest personality, too!
all you had to do was say his name and he would stare at you and tilt his head-- and he would make the cutest little whiny noises and would just stare at you like he was wanting to tell you something. he knew how to sit, stay, and shake- and if you asked him to sit, he would sit and then whine and stare at you anxiously. i kept sneaking off one day so i could take some video of him, so here's one of the videos!

i had a funny thought- ben franklin was probably really confused... maybe he doesn't board often, so he was like, "where am i? why am i in this room? who is this person? how do they know my name?"
hahaha!! I loved that video! Was that your voice though? I love how his name is more like Benfranklin. If we ever get a dog we definitely have to get a pug now. Maybe Barrymanilow or Tomhanks will be the name we choose.
Daddy's pants left me a message tonight. I was all excited to see he called and left a message but it was just a recording of his pants walking and him in the background getting onto someone. "I already went over that!"
